Your IT Recruiter is seeking a Platform Engineer for our client John Deere, based in Moline, IL. The role emphasizes cloud-based design and development with a strong focus on infrastructure as code and automation.

You will collaborate with the Infrastructure team to build a Digital Workspace Platform for use across engineering groups, applying modern DevOps practices and tools to accelerate delivery.

Competenze

• Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex software using DevOps concepts.
• Experience with Rest APIs and integration points.
• 2+ years with both relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) databases.
• 2+ years with Git and source control workflows.
• Hands-on with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Salt.

• Help move infrastructure toward code-based delivery (IaC).

Your IT Recruiter is looking for a Platform Engineer for our client.

This position will be working as Platform Engineer for one of its top clients, John Deere, located in Moline, IL. This role requires technical expertise in cloud web application design and development.

The candidate will be responsible to help the team move towards infrastructure as a code. Work with the team’s Infrastructure Engineers to find innovative ways to focus on creating a Digital Workspace Platform to be consumed by other Infrastructure Engineers.

Requirements

• Experience in the design, development, testing, and integration/deployment of highly complex software solutions leveraging DevOps concepts
• Experience with Rest APIs
• 2+ years of experience in relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non-relational (NonSQL: MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, Redis, Couchbase, Apache HBase) databases
• 2+ years of experience with Git
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ex: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Salt)
• Must have good problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated passion for technical learning and identifying areas for innovation
