Job summary

NTT DATA Europe & Latam seeks a Platform Architect to lead modernization and continuous improvement of our platform. You will define and evolve the target architecture, provide solution guidance to delivery teams, and establish pragmatic standards and reusable patterns aligned with product strategy and operational needs.

The role combines strategic architecture leadership with hands-on support for solution design, technical decision‑making, modernization sequencing, and complex problem

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in platform or software architecture for complex enterprise applications.
• Experience defining target architectures and modernization roadmaps.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Proven experience as Lead Architect, Platform Architect, or equivalent.
• Ability to move between strategic roadmap, solution-level design, and delivery support.

Responsibilities

• Assess current platform architecture, identify risks and debt, and define a phased modernization roadmap.
• Translate product strategy and non-functional requirements into architecture principles and engineering direction.
• Define reference architectures, guardrails, and standards for applications, APIs, data, and security.
• Lead architecture and solution-design activities for major changes and cross-cutting requirements.
• Review technical solutions and provide pragmatic guidance balancing alignment, risk, and cost.
• Maintain architecture decisions, diagrams, and governance artifacts for repeatable decisions.
• Guide modernization of legacy components, including decomposition and re-platforming.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Security teams to remove blockers.
