All about the role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Plant Manager - Fabric Care to lead and oversee all operations at one of our key manufacturing facilities. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of the plant, ensuring the achievement of short- and mid-term financial and operational goals in alignment with the broader corporate strategy.

As Plant Manager, you will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all functional areas, including production, maintenance, quality assurance, engineering, supply chain and logistics, and distribution. You will work to optimize plant performance, ensure regulatory and safety compliance, drive continuous improvement, and foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, efficiency, and operational excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment while contributing to the success and growth of our Fabric Care business.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Manufacturing teams to effectively formulate and execute short-term operating plan and long-term capital investment program for support to achieve Visions, Goals and Missions of the Electrolux Manufacturing BA EA.
  • Efficiently manage resources and collaborate across departments to ensure a safe work environment, high-quality products, and optimized manufacturing performance.
  • Cooperate with all levels and work closely with engineering and other departments to troubleshoot, design, and improve plant layout, processes, equipment, and tooling.
  • Continuously train and coach teams on technical skills and manufacturing technologies across various production processes and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and other teams to ensure timely delivery, high quality, and cost-efficiency of new products.
  • Develop and implement Manufacturing Strategic Plans focused on automation, digital transformation, and new technologies.
  • Drive Electrolux Manufacturing System (EMS), accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement throughout manufacturing operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree, combined with 7 - 10 years of relevant experience, within manufacturing or OEM plant environments.
  • Proven ability to manage manufacturing technologies, lead continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma), and drive performance through effective business plan execution.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and engineering processes, including budgeting and cost control.
  • Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices, ISO standards, Italian Labor Law and sustainability practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large teams while fostering cross-functional collaboration and building strong internal networks.
  • Clear and strategic communicator, with strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven, accountable, and committed to quality, innovation, and safety.
  • Dedicated to continuous learning and development, for both self and team.
  • Good English, written and spoken.

Where you’ll be:

You will be based at our Porcia site, in the metropolitan area of Pordenone in Northeast Italy. This dynamic and innovative environment is dedicated to the design, development and testing of key product lines, including dishwashers, washing machines, washer-dryers, and tumble dryers.
