Experteer Italy is seeking a senior piping design engineer to lead design and layout activities for life sciences projects, using AVEVA E3D to develop robust 3D models and ensure GMP compliance.

You will own piping documentation from P&IDs to GA drawings, mentor junior designers, review P&IDs, and coordinate with other disciplines across international projects; travel within Italy and abroad is possible.

Competenze

• Extensive piping design and plant layout experience across Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy, or Process industries.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, EN, ISO codes and regulatory requirements.
• Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Willingness to travel for assignments within Italy and internationally.

Mansioni

• Lead piping engineering documentation including isometrics and GA in line with project requirements.
• Own piping design and layout activities from concept to as-built, ensuring safety, GMP, constructability and maintainability.
• Develop layouts and solutions compliant with international codes and client specs.
• Identify and mitigate safety, operational, and regulatory risks related to piping systems.
• Review and comment on P&IDs; maintain 3D piping models in AVEVA E3D; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Model pipe supports per stress engineering requirements and project specs.
