The University of Insubria - Department of Biotechnology and Life Sciences in Italy invites applications for a research position studying morphological, histological, and biochemical analysis of leaves and roots from Arrhenatherum elatius, Trifolium pratense, Broussonetia papyrifera and Robinia pseudoacacia grown in contaminated soils under natural and mesocosm conditions.
The project also investigates the phytostabilizing effect of biochar on soil quality and its impact on plant development.
