Pegasoft s.r.l. in Rende, Italy, is looking for a talented PHP / Drupal Back-End Developer to enhance their innovative digital solutions. You will work on backend solutions based on PHP and Drupal for modern web platforms and enterprise applications, collaborating closely with multifunctional teams.

• At least 2 years of experience in backend development.

We are looking for a talented PHP / Drupal Back-End Developer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of modern web platforms and enterprise applications.

Your role

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will design, develop and maintain backend solutions based on PHP and Drupal, helping deliver secure, scalable and high-performance web applications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• developing custom Drupal modules and backend features
• maintaining and enhancing existing web applications
• designing and integrating REST APIs and third‑party services
• improving application performance, security and code quality
• collaborating with Front‑End Developers, UI/UX Designers and Project Managers in an Agile environment
• participating in code reviews and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in backend development and knowledge of:

• PHP 8+
• Drupal (preferably Drupal 9/10 or later)
• MySQL / MariaDB
• Composer
• Git

Nice to have

• familiarity with Docker and Linux environments
• good written and spoken English
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
