Job summary

Elliott Aviation in Milan, IL, is seeking a Service Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on airframe, engine, and components with limited supervision. You will support Embraer Phenom events and inspections, maintaining compliance with manufacturer data and FAA rules.

You will collaborate with teams to deliver safe, high-quality results, mentor junior technicians, and uphold standards of craftsmanship and safety across turbine-powered aircraft.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P certificate required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of FAR Parts 43, 65, 91, 135, 145.
• Experience troubleshooting turbine-powered aircraft.
• Ability to obtain airport access credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, servicing, repairs, modifications, and maintenance of aircraft and engine systems using approved data.
• Troubleshoot and repair airframe, engine, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and components.
• Support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events, major inspections, and aircraft-on-ground troubleshooting.
• Serve as a maintenance resource for Embraer Phenom inspections and projects.
• Document maintenance discrepancies and ensure compliance with SBs and ADs.
• Order, track, install, and document aircraft components as required.
• Mentor developing technicians and promote quality workmanship.
