CERIC-ERIC is seeking a PhD student in Experimental Physics to participate in the "DiMiNe" project focused on carbon-based semiconductor radiation detectors. The candidate will work primarily at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, Croatia.

This position involves developing detection systems and collaborating with multi-cultural teams. Ideal candidates should have a Master’s degree in Physics, experience in experimental practices, and be fluent in English. The contract is for 48 months, with flexible work options offered.

Competenze

• Strong knowledge of experimental physics practices.
• Proficiency in Monte Carlo simulation tools like Geant4 or FLUKA.
• Excellent command of English, additional languages are a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop new detection systems to assess carbon-based radiation detectors.
