University of Udine invites applications for a PhD position within the FAroGels MSCA Doctoral Network on food-grade, bio-based, and biodegradable aerogels and their application in sustainable food systems.

The selected candidate will be employed by the University of Udine and participate in an international, interdisciplinary research program; English proficiency is required, and a Master’s degree in a related field is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Materials Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related areas.
• Strong laboratory and analytical skills in food chemistry, food structure, food technology, sensory analysis, materials science.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Aufgaben

• Conduct research within the FAroGels program on bio-based, biodegradable aerogels for sustainable food systems.
• Collaborate with an international, interdisciplinary research team.
• Contribute to doctoral research outputs and dissemination.
