A leading payroll services company is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their team in Rome. This role involves managing payroll processes and supporting new employees in a dynamic and multicultural environment. Candidates should have at least 1-2 years in HR payroll, strong Excel skills, and a proactive attitude. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is preferred and the position is on a fixed-term contract.

  • Experience with Zucchetti HR software is a plus.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Specialist to join our team in Rome on a fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment, supporting key payroll and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry in SAP SuccessFactors (new hires, terminations, contract changes, etc.)
  • Corporate reporting activities
  • Administrative onboarding for new employees
  • Management of employment contracts : hiring, extensions, terminations, and mandatory communications to authorities (Employment Center, INPS, INAIL)
  • Handling of fixed-term contracts
  • Management of absences : sickness, accidents, maternity, leaves, deductions, etc.
  • Monthly payroll checks, with a focus on executive-level employees
  • Support with internal mobility and impatriate tax regime
  • Assistance with payroll-related activities (insurance policies, welfare programs, meal vouchers)
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 / 2 years of experience in HR payroll or personnel administration
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and high level of accuracy
  • Proactive, curious, flexible, and adaptable
  • Experience with Zucchetti HR software is a plus
