Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare a variety of desserts and pastry items in accordance with recipes and guidance from senior chefs, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Maintain adequate mise en place levels for seamless service, focusing on minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency
  • Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all food products, delivering excellence in every dish
  • Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with Zuma’s rigorous cleanliness and safety standards
  • Take an active interest in learning other kitchen sections to support team collaboration and adaptability
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance to reflect Zuma’s commitment to professionalism
