Job summary

Ping Identity in Italy is seeking a field-based Sales Specialist to drive adoption of PingOne Recognize biometric authentication. The role focuses on net-new logo acquisition and strategic upsells, leveraging an internal resource model and global partner directory to displace legacy MFA.

You will lead territory strategies, articulate the business value of privacy-preserving biometrics, and close high-stakes contracts by integrating PingOne Recognize into CIAM/IAM ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Specialized quota experience in selling high-growth enterprise software.
• Challenger mindset with ability to shift customer security perspectives to biometric-first architectures.
• Established network of CISOs and Digital Transformation leaders.
• Deep knowledge of FIDO standards, GDPR/privacy regulations, and passwordless moves.
• Experience working with GSIs on large-scale transformations.
• Mastery of value-selling to emphasize total risk reduction and UX improvements.
• Eligibility to work in Italy and fluent Italian language skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead territory strategy to evangelize PingOne Recognize to reduce legacy MFA friction.
• Articulate the business value of PingOne Recognize including privacy-preserving biometrics and zero-knowledge tech.
• Close high-stakes contracts by integrating PingOne Recognize into CIAM/IAM ecosystems to reduce fraud.
• Provide field intelligence to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Privacy experts to address deep biometric data inquiries.
• Track adoption lifecycle and maintain transparency in sales activity and pipeline health.
