Dollar Tree Stores in Lombardia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and help deliver a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities include opening/closing, merchandising, payroll and scheduling tasks, loss prevention, and maintaining store standards. The role requires strong communication, a team mindset, and adherence to company policies.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns
• Help organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Process corporate directives related to store activities
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and receipts, and loss prevention
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines and ensure associates follow them
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Keep store clean, maintain bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall neatness
• Other duties as assigned
