Job summary

Schindler Group invites a Specialist Modeling LiftDesigner to join the Global Product Configurator team in Lombardy, Italy. You will develop and maintain parametric 3D CAD models, create specifications and drawings to support configuration and order execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering ( Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics or IT).
• Around 3–5 years of professional experience in elevator/engineering-driven environment.
• Hands-on experience with Digipara LiftDesigner.
• Experience in product modeling and technical design activities.
• Exposure to requirements engineering and project-based work.
• Good understanding of IT systems and business processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain parametric 3D CAD models based on requirements for Schindler elevator products.
• Design technical specifications and dimensional drawings for elevator systems.
• Conduct QA activities, unit testing and document changes.
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of technical drawings for offers and order execution.
• Support automation capabilities and continuous quality improvements.
• Contribute to BIM developments and 3D model exchanges with customers and planners.
• Translate business needs into sustainable modeling solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering outputs.
• Support innovation, product quality and customer satisfaction.
