Job summary

Tenova S.p.A. in Genova is seeking an Optimization Intern to join the Supply Chain Department. You will support the Optimization Manager and contribute to daily data-driven improvement projects, helping monitor tools like SAP S/4HANA and the Supplier Portal.

This 6-month internship offers hands-on experience in an international environment, with a monthly gross reimbursement of €800 and access to the company canteen. Strong English, analytical mindset, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree students, or recent graduates in Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong interest in data analysis, business processes, and system integration.
• Attention to detail and analytical mindset, with an interest in benchmarking and continuous improvement.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, autonomy and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Support the Optimization Manager and monitor business tools (SAP S/4HANA and Supplier Portal).
• Assist in tracking system issues and user requests.
• Support testing activities and validation of system functionalities.
• Help maintain and update operational documentation and user guides.
• Assist in updating dashboards and reports (Supplier Portal and BI tools).
• Support analysis of operational processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
