We are seeking a hands-on Operations Support professional to ensure the safe, efficient, and quality-focused manufacturing of our advanced vacuum products and systems. In this critical role, you will contribute directly to precision mechanical assembly, testing, packaging, TIG welding, or machining operations, maintaining the rigorous standards our production environment demands.

As an Operations Support professional within our Vacuum Products manufacturing environment, you will drive the safe, efficient, and quality-focused production of advanced systems—including turbomolecular, ion, and rotary vane primary pumps, portable leak detectors, and complete pumping solutions.

Principle Duties / Responsibilities:

• Execute routine mechanical assembly, TIG welding, machining, and packaging using hand tools and equipment in compliance with documented Work Instructions.
• Perform mechanical assembly of components and finished vacuum products with precision.
• Execute rigorous product and component testing to ensure adherence to strict quality standards.
• Complete assigned operational tasks within the precision machining center and perform sheet-metal TIG welding.
• Handle product and component packaging efficiently for safe storage and transit.
• Access, record, and complete production steps daily using the SAP Manufacturing Execution (SAP ME) POD system, alongside in-process quality checks and defect tracking.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Entry-level eligibility with no prior manufacturing experience required.
• Aptitude and willingness to learn assembly, packaging, welding, or machining through on-the-job training.
• Strong manual dexterity for handling small mechanical parts and precision components.
• Basic computer literacy and readiness to use digital tools like SAP ME POD.
• Capacity to read, understand, and follow written Work Instructions and process documentation.
• High attention to detail, quality focus, and readiness to seek guidance when needed.
• Effective communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility to adapt to changing production priorities.

Italy: 23,040 – 36,000 EUR per annum.
The position is classified at Levels D2 or C2 under the CCNL Industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti – Cod. C011, which defines minimum salary levels, pay progression, and working conditions
