Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Controlling Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial controlling activities for our operations in Italy, Spain, and Portugal. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our Southern European markets.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Lead and manage the operations controlling function for Italy, Spain, and Portugal, ensuring accurate and timely cost reporting and analysis.
  • Develop and implement cost strategies, policies, and procedures to support business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support strategic decision‑making and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate at group level to ensure KPIs standardization.
  • Provide financial insights and support for strategic projects and initiatives, including expansion plans and process optimization.
  • Participation of business projects.
  • Build models supporting decision‑making processes.
  • Initiate search for cost optimization opportunities, recommending solutions for business.
Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; CIMA is a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Practical knowledge of management accounting.
  • Experience in building business models and automated reports.
  • Ability to gather, summarize and articulate complex information for decision making.
  • The ability to translate the results of conducted analyses into business recommendations.
  • Strong can‑do mentality and drive to accomplish tasks in an environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify issues or inconsistencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and senior management.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Willingness to travel within the Southern European region as required.
