A prestigious international university in Rome is seeking to fill a full-time Open Rank position in the Business Administration program starting in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will contribute to program growth through teaching, curriculum enhancement, and active engagement in research activities. This role requires a Ph.D. in Business Administration and experience in an American university context. Applications should be submitted via email by November 20, 2025.
The American University of Rome (AUR) invites applications for a full-time Open Rank position in the Business Administration program, beginning Fall 2026.
AUR currently offers a well-established Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), with concentrations in Economics, Finance, Marketing, and Social Marketing. The university also offers a BS in Travel and Tourism Management. The person appointed will contribute to the further growth of the program by working closely with the faculty and administration to enhance business program offerings, update the curriculum, teach and mentor students, and generally advance the university’s academic profile by actively engaging with external stakeholders and pursuing various scholarly and research activities.
Applicants should submit in PDF format to applications@aur.edu: a letter of application responding to the responsibilities and desired characteristics above and detailing their teaching and scholarly / creative experience; an up-to-date CV; and the names of three references to be contacted should the candidate proceed to the interview stage. First-round candidates will be interviewed remotely. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to interview in Rome.
