AstraZeneca is seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in Oncology to act as the country representative for scientific exchange with Key External Experts, clinicians and investigators across Italy. You will shape study feasibility, address evidence gaps, and support regional access decisions to ensure practice-changing therapies reach patients.

Competenze

• Previous experience as MSL in Oncology or strong scientific background in Oncology.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly across assigned territory.
• Knowledge of local regulatory requirements related to medical affairs activities.

Mansioni

• Scientific Exchange Leadership with external experts and healthcare professionals to surface insights guiding medical strategy.
• Support site selection and feasibility for trials and manage issues during implementation.
• Facilitate External Sponsored Research discussions and complete company evaluations per SOP.
• Define Local Field Medical Plan and manage local medical budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Field Medical Plan and coordinate with regional priorities.
• Engage with regional Health Authorities and support formulary inclusion considerations.
• Collaborate with Medical Information and Safety to manage adverse events and inquiries.
• Represent Global Medical Team as country delegate and ensure alignment.
