Brunel is hiring a Freelance Contracts Advisor in Milan, Italy, to start December 2026 for a 12-month contract with a major Oil & Gas Operator. You will oversee the full contract lifecycle, from strategy development and supplier selection to tendering, negotiation, and project close-out, ensuring compliance and optimal contractor performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in Contracts Engineering / Administration and related negotiations.
• Understanding of contract lifecycle, FEED/EPC contracts, and supplier management.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and contractor management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute project contracting and tender strategies
• Prepare Contracting Plans and ITT packages
• Manage tender processes, bidder communications, and evaluations
• Lead or support commercial and contractual negotiations
• Draft, review, and finalize contract documentation
• Provide commercial analysis and support award recommendations
• Lead contract kick-off meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment
• Manage contract administration, change control, and subcontracting
• Monitor contractor performance, invoicing, and payments
• Support contract close-out and lessons learned
