Job summary

An international energy firm is seeking an experienced I&C Engineer to join its team in Milan, Italy. This key role involves supporting instrumentation and control aspects of a major offshore project. Responsibilities include reviewing engineering deliverables, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, and ensuring technical quality during installation and testing phases. Candidates should have a degree in a related field and over 5 years of relevant experience, with fluency in English. This position offers long-term project engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in I&C engineering within oil & gas, offshore, EPC or major industrial projects.
• Strong experience across instrumentation, controls and automation systems.
• Experience reviewing engineering deliverables, technical specifications and vendor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing instrumentation and control engineering deliverables and technical documentation.
• Supporting field instrumentation, control systems and wider automation scope.
• Coordinating interfaces with electrical, process, telecoms and other engineering disciplines.
• Reviewing vendor packages, specifications and technical submissions.
• Supporting installation, testing, system integration and commissioning activities.
• Working with contractors, vendors and project stakeholders to maintain technical quality.
