A marine technical services company is seeking an Offshore Hook-up Specialist in Varese, Italy. The role involves managing the overall installation campaign, ensuring quality execution of installation and pre-commissioning activities, and meeting project budgets and timelines. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and have at least eight years of relevant experience. Excellent English communication skills are essential.

Job Title : Offshore Hook-up Specialist

On-Site / Remote / Hybrid : Onsite

Location : Milan, Italy

Job Type : Contract

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall installation campaign and responsible for the successful completion of the installation and pre-commissioning of the new facilities
• Overall quality of installation and pre-commissioning activities definition, planning and execution
• Respect of Project costs and time targets for installation.

Key activities

• Responsible for the definition of the detailed installation scope of Work pertaining to the EPIC contractor
• Ensure that all the review activities in relation to the subsea field layout with respect to installation requirements are carried out
• Responsible for the consolidation and optimization of the overall installation and pre-commissioning program with respect to various applicable installation methods and vessels
• Ensuring all installation and pre-commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with schedule, budget and HSEQ requirements
• Endorsing official documents, work progress certificates and handover certificates
• Provide support to the Commissioning team.

Minimum & Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited university
• Work experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
