Rise Technical is seeking an OBSW Engineer to contribute to satellite flight software development in Cagliari, Sardinia. The role focuses on developing and maintaining OBSW for onboard computers, with integration across systems and hardware teams to ensure flight-ready software.

You will support the full software lifecycle, participate in verification efforts, and help evolve engineering practices while working in a vibrant aerospace environment in Sardinia.

Competenze

• Experience in space/defence or other mission-critical embedded environments.
• Background in satellite OBC software and/or satellite flight software development.
• Strong fundamentals in embedded software engineering.

Mansioni

• Develop and maintain OBSW for on-board computers (OBCs).
• Support the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, implementation, test, integration and verification.
• Collaborate with systems and hardware teams to support software/system integration.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation to support development and verification.
