Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Scientific Information professional to conduct non-promotional medical information activities for physicians, in compliance with local regulations. You will develop in-depth knowledge across therapeutic areas and support information flows to improve patient care.

Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential, with English proficiency and experience in pharma or medical devices.

Qualifications

• Educational background as specified in art. 122 paragraph 2 of Legislative Decree 24/04/2006 No. 219.
• Deep knowledge of regulatory and ethical requirements related to scientific drug information and, where applicable, medical devices.
• High professional qualification and adequate scientific, product, and market knowledge.
• Strong listening skills and ability to adapt communication style to the audience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills to handle questions and objections.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/medical devices business and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Performs scientific information activities for physicians in line with relevant regulations.
• Develops deep knowledge of therapeutic areas and the related market.
• Reports adverse drug effects to the Pharmacovigilance team per regulations and procedures.
• Plans interviews and meetings with healthcare professionals to improve scientific efficacy.
• Manages reporting and information flows to support territorial interactions.
• Conducts non-promotional educational activities for healthcare operators per company directives.
• Supports supply/provision activities and shares updates with the Area Manager and HQ.
