La figura sarà responsabile della gestione del servizio locale in sede a Roma, collaborando con il team globale per garantire l'operatività conforme agli SLA e elevata soddisfazione del cliente.

Mansioni

• Gestione locale del servizio onsite da lunedì a venerdì.
• Gestione cambi standard e configurazione di apparati (AP, switch, ecc.).
• Troubleshooting locale e supporto Break & Fix.
• Coordinamento con il NOC centrale e reporting.
• Gestione della parte spare locale e test di backup/DR.

NTT is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team, delivering a key strategic service for a major international client in the automotive industry. The Network Engineer will be involved in service delivery activities related to the Italian site and will work closely with our global team to ensure the effective and continuous operation of the service, meeting agreed SLAs and contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing the local service from Monday to Friday and will be required to provide on-call support outside normal business hours to handle any incidents requiring immediate intervention at the customer site.

your main responsibilities will be:

• Daily Onsite Service
• Standard Changes (AP, Switch, etc. add, move, uninstall) including configuration and handover to Operations
• Local troubleshooting including configuration
• Break & Fix support
• Major Change support
• Local spare parts management
• Performance testing support
• Performance tuning and optimization support
• Equipment Configuration Cleaning and Hardening support
• Backup / DR testing support
• Reporting
• Escalating unresolved issues to Central NOC

To be successful in this role we require:

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team working and collaborative approach
• Eager to learn
• Good understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Ability to follow scripts and documented procedures
• Confidence in troubleshooting of hardware/software
• A minimum of experience in service delivery (6-12 months)
• Fluent in Italian
• Able to work in international environment using English language (speaking and writing)
• Availability for on-call duty
