Your role at KIKO MILANO

We are looking for a Global Network Senior Specialist to join KIKO MILANO’s Global IT Team, within the Operations & Security area, reporting to the Head of Technology Operations & Security.

Such talent will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all networking activities across the company’s retail and office locations, both in Italy and internationally.

The role ensures operational excellence of the corporate network infrastructure, covering WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Internet connectivity, through effective supplier management, project coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

In particular, you will:

  • Lead and supervise network service providers, ensuring service quality and compliance with SLAs for incident resolution, change requests, and network operations.
  • Coordinate the implementation and activation of network components (Internet connectivity, Cisco equipment, subnets, VPNs, Wi-Fi, etc.) for new store openings, relocations, refits and office setups.
  • Partner with the Procurement team to manage supplier contracts, including tenders, renewals, and cost optimization initiatives for network and connectivity services.
  • Oversee network performance and monitoring activities in collaboration with vendors, identifying areas for improvement, capacity planning, and modernization opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Workplace team to align network provisioning with store and office lifecycle processes, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation, standards and procedures, ensuring operational consistency and compliance across all locations.
What you will need to succeed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience in Network Coordination, Network Engineering, or IT Infrastructure roles within complex or multinational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, routing, switching).
  • Hands‑on experience with Cisco Meraki environments and network monitoring tools.
  • Proven ability to coordinate external vendors and manage multi‑country infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with IT procurement processes and contract lifecycle management.
  • Previous experience in the retail industry or distributed multi‑site organizations is highly desirable.
  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent is nice to have.
  • Knowledge of SD‑WAN or cloud‑based networking solutions.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
