We offer an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, with over 3,300 professionals across Europe and the world. The candidate will be part of a team of network engineers, security engineers, and technicians working on engineering Ground Segments for satellite communication systems.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Analyze and consolidate requirements concerning the Network & Security architecture of Ground Segments.
• Contribute to design, development, implementation, deployment, and testing of a Network & Security architecture.
• Define networking solutions, configure, and troubleshoot networking equipment for LAN and WAN.
• Define Network and System Management processes, configuration, and procedures.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, or a related technical/scientific field; or a Technical Superior Study in a technical/scientific area.
• Knowledge of data communications systems (Wired, Satellite, Radio/Mobile).
• Experience and/or certification with Cisco and Fortinet products; knowledge of networking protocols and equipment configuration.
• Knowledge of Network and System Management (NMS) solutions.
• Knowledge of virtual platforms.
• Knowledge of operating systems, databases, and computing basic tools.
• Knowledge of security engineering frameworks (risks, threats, vulnerabilities, countermeasures, impact, incident).
• Availability for defense/military projects and for Security Clearance process.
• Availability to relocate and travel (Italy and abroad) including frequent trips to Saudi Arabia for a specific project.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Teamwork capability and knowledge sharing.
• Proficiency in English language.

Experience

At least 1–3 years of relevant experience.
