TRUMPF ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING ITALIA, based in Schio, is part of the TRUMPF Group and specializes in 3D metal printers. Additive manufacturing will shape the future of industry, creating components from powder and light through laser technology using layer-by-layer deposition of metallic powder (Laser Metal Fusion).

We are seeking a .NET Software Developer to join the Electronics & Software Development team. Reporting to the Department Manager, the candidate will be responsible for designing, architecting, developing, and maintaining software solutions for the technological control of 3D printers.

The main activities will include:

• Assessing project requirements and formulating conceptual design and technical specifications;
• Creating technical specifications and exploring various solution concepts;
• Analyzing project feasibility regarding software engineering, costs, and timelines;
• Ensuring quality requirements through automatic and manual testing, continuous optimization, and automation of the software development process;
• Facilitating smooth software installation in the production environment by designing and maintaining diagnostic tools to support manufacturing processes.

Requirements include:

• A degree in computer engineering or a related field, with a focus on software design, development, and testing;
• Experience in designing complex software components using object-oriented programming techniques;
• Skills in user interface design with Microsoft .NET technologies such as Windows Forms, WPF, or Angular;
• Knowledge of Microsoft C#;
• Proficiency with IDEs like Microsoft Visual Studio and source code management tools such as Git;
• Creativity, problem-solving skills, and result-oriented mindset;
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;
• Good command of English.
