Thales in Gorgonzola, Italy is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer for Navigation systems in Air Traffic Management. You will lead technical interfaces, study tenders, define architecture and support site surveys and deployments.
The role requires a broad engineering background (electronic, RF, software, telecom), strong communication skills and willingness to travel worldwide. Fluent English and Italian are expected; German/French is a plus. On-site assignment with Thales globally.

The activity of NAS domain: avionics, navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots, ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines, air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Group’s Competence center for the design, production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.
In the field of Navigation systems equipment in Air Traffic Management, the candidate will be responsiblefor all technical activities and customer interfaces during the offer and support execution phases of aDomestic/Export project. He/She acts as lead technical interface regards Solution architecture, performance, support to help to solveissues raised during the project phase.
Additional languages, such as Russian, Spanish, French, Arabic to a technical firm level thus to be capable tosupport/handle tender/contracts requirements would be beneficial.
