Chronos Consulting is seeking an experienced MRI Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and service advanced MRI systems across Italy. You will collaborate with clinical teams and regional partners to deliver reliable on-site and remote support, tackle complex hardware, electronics and software issues, and drive fast diagnostics and effective repairs.

The role requires a B.Sc. in Electrical or Biomedical engineering, 3-10 years’ field service experience on multidisciplinary medical systems,

Competenze

• B.Sc. in Electrical or Biomedical engineering.
• 3-10 years’ field service experience on multidisciplinary medical systems.
• Experience servicing MRI systems.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Strong technical understanding of hardware electronics (analog and digital) and software troubles.

Mansioni

In this role you install, maintain and service advanced MRI systems, ensuring high performance and patient safety. You will collaborate with clinical teams and regional partners to deliver reliable, on-site and remote support. You tackle complex hardware, electronics and software issues, driving fast diagnostics and effective repairs. This position offers hands-on field work across Italy with significant travel and shift flexibility, contributing to cutting-edge medical imaging innovation.

• Install new MRI systems

• Provide technical remote support for systems
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures
• Record failure, maintenance and service activities
• B.Sc. in Electrical or Biomedical engineer
• 3-10 years’ experience as a field service engineer for multidisciplinary medical systems
• Experience servicing MRI systems
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Strong technical understanding
• Ability to solve hardware electronics (analog and digital) and software problems
• Ability to interpret various instructions (written, oral, diagram, schedule)
• "Hands on" character with good mechanical capabilities
• Organized and structured, capable of working independently
• Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts and travel ~60%
