First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Money Processing Center (MPC) Teller at our Kahului Branch.

Responsibilities

• Works with the department, operations managers, and supervisors to ensure adherence to all compliance, GLBA, audit, and security requirements, minimizing exposure to loss/liability.
• Performs teller functions in the daily support of the overall operations of the department.
• Accepts and processes deposits accurately.
• Redeems and calculates foreign currency/drafts for deposits.
• Turns in excess cash to vault throughout the day.
• Fulfills customer change orders accurately and timely.
• Cross trains in other processing areas.

Work Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Hours may vary).

Compensation

The pay range is $16.00 – $22.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications

• High school degree required.
• Prior teller or cash handling experience desirable.
• Ability to count.
• Must be able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Use of 10-key adding machine and typing.
• Attention to detail and ability to use judgment and discretion regarding customer transactions and confidential information.
