Albert Heijn is looking for a Medior QA Engineer (Mobile) to ensure high quality in the iOS and Android Albert Heijn app. You will execute diverse testing types, translate requirements into test scenarios, and work with developers, PMs and other stakeholders from refinement onward to embed quality.

Hybrid work from Zaandam area, with a focus on mobile testing and reliable releases. The role emphasizes hands-on mobile testing, defect analysis, and proactive quality advocacy to improve customer

Competenze

• Experience in software testing with a strong foundation in manual testing.
• Hands-on testing of mobile applications on iOS and Android.
• Knowledge of test case design based on acceptance criteria and defect reporting in Jira.

Mansioni

• Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing for new features in the Albert Heijn app on iOS and Android.
• Translate requirements into test scenarios and document defects clearly.
• Investigate issues beyond UI by analyzing logs, API requests/responses, and payloads to pinpoint root causes.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to embed quality throughout development.
• Advocate for quality and provide timely feedback to support informed release decisions.
• Support the delivery of innovative customer features through proactive communication and testing.
