Fastweb + Vodafone, leader del settore telecomunicazioni in Italia, cerca un Mobile Core Network Engineer per progettare e sviluppare soluzioni per reti mobili 2G/4G/5G (EPC/5GC).

La posizione prevede lavoro in team con Operations e Cybersecurity, competenze su VMware/KVM e Kubernetes, e una modalità ibrida con sedi preferite in Bari, Roma e altre città italiane.

Qualificações

• Laurea in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni o Ingegneria Informatica.
• Buona conoscenza della rete Core LTE/EPC e Core 5GC.
• Esperienza con virtualization e containerizzazione (VMware/KVM/Kubernetes).
• Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese.
• Buona capacità di troubleshooting e analisi KPI.

Responsabilidades

• Progettare e sviluppare architetture e soluzioni in ambito mobile 2G/4G/5G(NSA/SA).
• Definire requisiti di servizio e condurre scouting tecnologico con fornitori.
• Redigere documentazione tecnica e pianificare progetti con fornitori e risorse interne.
• Supportare attività di validazione e rilascio in esercizio.

In qualita’ di Mobile Core Network Engineer nel Team Technology le tue attivita’ e responsabilita’ saranno le seguenti:

• Progettare e sviluppare architetture e soluzioni in ambito mobile per le diverse generazioni di servizio 2G/4G/5G(NSA/SA).
• Definire i requisiti di servizio e condurre attività di scouting tecnologico con interazione diretta con i fornitori.
• Redigere la relativa documentazione tecnica.
• Gestire le fasi di pianificazione dei progetti, coordinando fornitori e risorse interne.
• Supportare le attività di validazione e rilascio in esercizio.

I macro-domini di responsabilità dei vari team nell’ambito funzionale Mobile sono:

• Architetture Mobile Packet Core (EPC/5GC) e relativi servizi
• eSIM/SIM management (profili elettrici, piattaforme Over-The-Air, etc.) ed architetture Mobile Messagging
• Servizi Voce Mobile (VoLTE, VoWiFi)
• Architetture Subscriber Data Management (SDM – HLR/HSS/UDM)
• Architetture per la gestione dei piani di segnalazione (MAP, CAP, DIAMETER, HTTP/2)

Requisiti Essenziali

• Laurea in Ingegneria delle Telecomunicazioni o Ingegneria Informatica.
• Conoscenza approfondita della rete Core LTE/EPC (MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF, HSS, etc.) e buona conoscenza della rete Core 5GC (AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, UDM/AUSF, etc.).
• Familiarità con l’architettura service-based (SBA) del 5G SA, e i relativi protocolli (HTTP/2, RESTful API).
• Esperienza con tecnologie di virtualizzazione (es. VMware, KVM) e containerizzazione (Kubernetes), in ambito cloud-native.
• Conoscenza delle reti voce IMS e CS.
• Esperienza in ambito signalling 2G e 4G e relative piattaforme STP (Signaling Transfer Point) e DRA (Diameter Routing Agent).
• Conoscenza base dell’ecosistema terminali mobili e servizi come VoLTE.
• Conoscenza base nella definizione dei profili elettrici delle SIM/eSIM e relative piattaforme di gestione Over-The-Air.
• Conoscenza base delle architetture a supporto dei servizi di messaggistica mobile (SMSC/MMSC) e relativi protocolli di servizio (MTP, SCCP, TCAP, MAP, SMPP).
• Buona capacità di troubleshooting, analisi KPI, log e tracciamenti di rete.
• Buona conoscenza sulle tematiche di networking e dei principali protocolli Layer 2/3 (ARP, STP, RSTP, VRRP, BGP, OSPF).
• Ottima conoscenza della lingua inglese.
• Forte orientamento al risultato.
• Attitudine al lavoro in team.
• Flessibilità, proattività e buone capacità relazionali.

Retribuzione: da € 34.000 lordi/anno + PdR. The final financial offer may exceed the indicated value and will be determined based on demonstrated skills, the level of autonomy, and the actual scope of responsibility assumed in the role.
