Job summary

Avio Aero in Italy seeks an experienced Industrial Program Manager to coordinate the development and industrialization of the AGB module. You will align Product Centers and Supply Chain functions with the Engineering team to meet readiness milestones and manage risk and cost implications.

Reporting to the Military Engine Industrial Manager, you will drive maturation plans, lead cross-functional teams and ensure timely deliveries across the program.

Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience in New Product Introduction projects/programs.
• Proven program/project management experience in a matrix environment.
• Fluent English and Italian communications.
• Willingness to travel as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize and ensure readiness of the AGB module.
• Manage readiness and on-time execution within Supply Chain across Engineering and Production.
• Deliver program control and reporting for area of competence.
• Create and execute integrated plans with the Program Master Schedule.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams during maturation.
• Identify, mitigate and manage risks affecting technical success, timing and compliance.
• Prepare Program Control Board materials and report to Leadership.
• Support MOR preparation and monitor KPIs at WOR/MOR cadence.

Job Description Summary

The Military Engine - AGB Industrial Leader will join the Industrial Management team that coordinates the industrial activities of the new strategic military program, for which the Industrial Management team is the Operations primary interface.

Job Description

In this role you will provide technical and management support during the Program launch and the execution of the development phases. You will define development plans for the Engine Accessory Gearbox Subsystem being responsible for the plan execution and deliveries, coordinating all the Product Centers and the involved functions within Supply Chain (Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Sourcing … ) and other relevant functions, being the Supply Chain primary interface for the Engineering team responsible for the design and technology maturation of the Modules, and reporting to the Military Engine Industrial Manager.

The goals of this role will mainly consist in matching the program milestones in terms of readiness and delivery and technological maturation plan execution, evaluating and managing manufacturing and readiness risks, supporting Manufacturing Cost control.

Travelling to other Avio Aero sites, to supplier’s and abroad is expected to cover specific program needs.

Working in classified environment is expected to cover specific program rules.

Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for the industrialization and readiness of the AGB module
• Responsible for the readiness and the on-time and on-time execution within the Supply Chain of the National Technology Maturation Plans for the AGB module and the integration with the Demonstrating vehicles and Engine program plans
• Responsible for the Delivery Management of area of competence according to the SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) priorities
• Create and execute integrated plans according to the Program Target and the Program Integrated Master Schedule
• Provide Technical leadership to the cross-functional teams during the execution of the maturation plan
• Proactively identify, detect, prevent and manage risks that may have impacts on technical success, timing of execution and compliance of the program
• Responsible for Program Control Board preparation for area of competence
• Responsible for reporting-out to Leadership team
• Support Program Management Team on Program MOR preparation
• Monitor the program progress (reporting relevant KPIs) at the operating rhythm (WOR, MOR)

Required Qualifications

• Engineering Master’s degree
• Technical competence on products and processes, obtained in Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Production Engineering Previous experience
• Previous experience in New Product Introduction development projects/programs
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to guide and lead others in a matrix environment
• Prior program/project management experience
• Italian and Fluent English language, oral and written
• Work Visa and Italian citizenship, according to local regulation, are required
• Availability to business travel

CCNL metalmeccanico – level B2

Salary range for this role

39.675,00 - 59.512,50 + Performance-related bonus + PDR up to 6000 euro

Compensation will be defined within the published salary range, reflecting the candidate’s experience, developed skills, and overall alignment with the role’s responsibilities.
