Trevi SpA recruits for construction sites in Italy as MHC Operators to drive excavation and machine operations safely and productively. The role requires following project specifications, maintaining quality standards, and complying with company procedures across multiple sites in Italy.

Candidates will need to assess risks, balance speed and quality, operate with onboard instrumentation, and prepare daily productivity reports for management review.

Job Description

Trevi SpA is hiring for construction sites in Italy:

MHC Operators

Required Skills

• Carry out excavation operations using a bucket, operating complex, purpose-equipped machinery in a proper and safe manner, also with regard to risks related to the surrounding environment, in compliance with company procedures and project specifications, ensuring the required quality standards.
• Set up and operate the assigned equipment efficiently in order to limit wear and downtime, ensuring the required level of productivity.
• Assess and mitigate risks related to the use of equipment within the working environment.
• Ensure high quality standards of execution.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Take an active role in managing site productivity.
• Ensure the safe operation and productivity of the machine.
• Prepare daily reports on machine productivity.
• Manage and maintain all assigned equipment.
• Support the manager in the activities of the function.
• Knowledge of onboard instrumentation functionalities and comparison with direct methods (depth, deviations, etc.).
• Knowledge of the Method Statement, project quality standards, and completion of quality control checklists.
• Ability to assess the characteristics of drilling mud.
• Ability to position equipment correctly (layout, direction, machine stability, use of steel plates).
• Ability to choose the most suitable technical solution for given conditions.
• Ability to use excavation accessories (hammers, chisels, etc.).
• Ability to balance excavation speed and quality of execution (absence of deviations and blockages).
• Ability to control verticality and carry out any necessary corrections.
