Job summary

QFP Srl in Este (PD) is seeking a Metrology Technician for the Metrology department. You will perform 3D scanning, CMM measurements and programming of automatic measurement systems, both in the lab and on client sites.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, a mechanical or industrial diploma, and the ability to read drawings and use 3D modeling software. Travelling 50-70% and good English are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in metrology or a related field.
• Mechanical or Industrial Technical Diploma or a related field (Bachelor's degree).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Ability to use 3D modeling software.
• Basic knowledge of industrial metrology principles.
• Basic knowledge of benchtop measurement instrumentation.
• Willingness to travel 50–70% of the time, including abroad.
• Knowledge of English.

Responsibilities

• 3D scanning and CMM measurements, and other laboratory measurements.
• Creation of 3D/2D inspection reports and reverse engineering activities.
• Programming of automatic measurement systems.
• Definition of project requirements in contact with the customer.
