A leading technology firm is seeking a Metallurgist/Corrosion Engineer in Lombardy, Italy. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities include selecting materials, preventing corrosion, and managing asset integrity systems. This is a contract position offering opportunities to work with international standards.

Role: Metallurgist / Corrosion Engineer

Location: Italy (Onsite)

Nationality: Indian candidates welcome

Visa: Schengen Visa will be provided

Main responsibilities

• Selection of the best technical/economical solutions for Materials
• Overall material selection integrity in compliance with international standards, COMPANY specifications and engineering best practices

Key activities

• Corrosion prevention and corrosion risk assessment
• Asset Integrity Management, including pipeline integrity management system, maintenance management system, corrosion and material management system
• Provide support in reviewing material non conformity

Minimum & Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
• Work experience of ten (10) years in the field of the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree
• Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports
