Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Specialist IT Business Analyst to join the Digital Manufacturing IT team. You will deploy MES Lite solutions based on Ignition for a global network of manufacturing sites, acting as a bridge between production, engineering, and IT to translate requirements into scalable, shop-floor oriented digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of MES, Industrial IoT, or digital manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand manufacturing processes to ensure MES Lite solutions deliver value.
• Translate business needs into scalable Ignition-based solutions.
• Support deployment of MES Lite across sites.
• Integrate shop floor equipment using OPC UA, Kepware, PLC interfaces.
• Configure Ignition dashboards and data models.
• Support rapid deployment cycles including site rollouts and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot MES Lite applications in live production.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with standards.
• Collaborate with architecture/data teams for data strategy and templates.
• Assist in backlog refinement and user story definition in Agile environments.
• Validate solutions against business expectations and KPIs.
• Analyze data models and system performance for continuous improvement.
• Provide knowledge transfer to site teams.
