A leading luxury fashion brand in Milan is seeking a Production Manager for menswear to oversee the entire production cycle. The role requires managing suppliers, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with various teams. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7–10 years of experience in luxury production management. Fluency in English and Italian is essential.

Competenze

• 7–10 years of experience in menswear production management within a premium or luxury brand.
• Strong technical understanding of tailoring and ready-to-wear garment construction.
• Proven experience managing multiple suppliers (Italy and abroad).

ThisroleactsasastrategicinterfacebetweenProductDevelopment,Merchandising,Planning,andexternalsuppliers,guaranteeingthatthebrand’screativevisionistranslatedintoindustrialexcellenceandcommerciallyviablecollections.

Key Responsibilities:

ProductionManagement&Planning

• Managetheend-to-endproductionprocessforallMenswearcategories
• Defineandmonitortheproductioncalendartoensureon-timedeliveriesaccordingtocorporatetimelines.
• CollaboratewithPlanningandLogisticsteamstoaligncapacity,leadtimes,andshippingschedules.

SupplierManagement

• Superviseinternationalandlocalsuppliers,ensuringcompliancewithquality,ethical,andsustainabilitystandards.
• Negotiatecosts,productionminimums,anddeliverytermstooptimizemargins.
• Conductregularfactoryvisitsandqualityauditstomaintainproductionconsistency.

ProductIndustrialization&Quality

• PartnercloselywiththeProductDevelopmentteamandIndustrializationSpecialisttoensuresmoothhandoverfromproto/samplestoproduction.
• Supervisefittingandapprovalprocesses,ensuringtechnicalspecificationsareaccuratelytranslatedintofinalgarments.
• Troubleshootproductionissuesandproposeproactivetechnicalorprocessimprovements.

Budget&CostControl

• Monitorproductionbudgetsandcoststructures,ensuringalignmentwithfinancialtargetsandmarginexpectations.
• Provideregularcostanalysisandsupplierperformancereports.

Cross-FunctionalCollaboration

• WorkcollaborativelywithMerchandising,Design,andDevelopment,toensurealignmentonproductstrategy,leadtimes,andseasonalpriorities.
• SupportSustainabilityandCSRinitiativesrelatedtothesupplychain.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’sdegreeinFashionProduction,TextileEngineering,orrelatedfield.
• Minimum7–10yearsofexperienceinMenswearproductionmanagementwithinapremiumorluxurybrand.
• Strongtechnicalunderstandingoftailoringandready-to-weargarmentconstruction.
• Provenexperiencemanagingmultiplesuppliers(Italyandabroad).
• Excellentnegotiation,analytical,andorganizationalskills.
• FluencyinEnglishandItalian(additionallanguagesaplus).
• ProficiencyinPLMsystems(Centricpreferred);knowledgeofERPtoolspreferred.
