Job summary

STMicroelectronics Italia is seeking a Digital Verification engineer with ASIC verification experience to join the MEMSs GROUP. You will participate in the full ASIC verification process from specification to industrialization.

Key tasks include developing verification testbenches, verification components, DSP models and digital control logic, and creating test cases for simulation, debugging, and coverage. Fluent English and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of digital verification experience in ASIC projects.
• Strong background in digital verification testbenches using UVM; SystemVerilog expertise.
• Experience with DSP models, digital control logic and verification components.
• Proficiency in Python, TCL scripts, and version control systems.
• Knowledge of I2C, SPI, I3C protocols is a plus; excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop verification testbenches and components.
• Develop DSP models and digital control logic; create test cases for simulation.
• Debug failures and build simulation cases for diverse scenarios.
• Collaborate within MEMS Group and participate in end-to-end ASIC verification processes.

• The responsibilities includes definition and development of verification testbench, development of verification components, development of DSP models and digital control logic, test case development for simulation, debugging failures and creating simulation cases for various scenarios.

Your Skills & Experiences

• The preferred seniority is 3 to 5 years of experience.


• Background in digital verification testbench (Universal Verification Methodology and System Verilog ), knows System Verilog and has experience with digital simulator tools.


• Universal Verification Methodology, System Verilog Assertion, coverage, self-checking capabilities, testbench automation, bugs analysis and reporting.


• Requested basic knowledge of python scripts, TCL scripts, version control system.


• A plus will be considered the knowledge of formal verification and communication protocols (e.g. I2C, SPI and I3C).


• The candidate has also soft skills such as good communication, fluently in English, team working and collaboration across all the entire MEMSs GROUP Design team.

The expected salary range for this position is €40000 - 45000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role. In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies. The final offer will be made in compliance with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), where relevant, and our internal compensation policies.
