Job summary

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore invites applications for a Researcher Profile Recognised Researcher (R2) Leading Researcher (R4) in the field of infectious diseases. The appointee will lead clinical, translational, and interdisciplinary research and contribute to hospital care models at the UOC of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli - IRCCS.

• Submit a selection of up to 30 scientific publications demonstrating breadth and leading authorship.
• Develop and validate hospital care models that promote interdisciplinary pathways; provide clinical care within the UOC of the Gemelli IRCCS.

Offer Description

The candidate’s research activity shall focus on infectious diseases, with particular attention to high-impact, emerging, and re-emerging infections, adopting a clinical, translational, technological, and interdisciplinary approach. The candidate shall submit a selection of up to 30 scientific publications demonstrating breadth of research interests, sound research methodology, scientific relevance, and a leading authorship role. Scientific productivity will also be evaluated in terms of continuity and intensity of publication output, Impact Factor relative to academic age, and the proportion of publications with predominant authorship. Research activities will be directed toward the development and validation of hospital care models that promote interdisciplinary pathways. The candidate will also provide clinical care activities within the UOC of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli - IRCCS.
