Arcadis cerca per un cliente basato a Milano uno Mechanical Specialist freelance con ampia esperienza in pipeline, dalla progettazione ai collaudi. Ruolo EPC Detail Design.

Il candidato ideale ha oltre 20 anni di esperienza nelle discipline pipeline, nello sviluppo di specifiche tecniche, gestione MOC, audit fornitori e conformità API/ASME. Competenze in FEA e GIS sono preferenziali.

Competenze

• Esperienza 20+ anni in pipeline dalla fase di progettazione al commissioning.
• Leadership della disciplina pipeline e gestione di modifiche di processo (MOC).
• Verifica conformità a API 5L/ASME B31.3/B31.4 e API 6A/6D.
• Competenza in specifiche tecniche, datasheets e metodi di lavoro.

Mansioni

• Guidare o partecipare a design e costruzione di sistemi di tubazioni.
• Gestire MOC e risk management durante l’esecuzione EPC Detail Design.
• Condurre audit di fornitori e analisi di failure di pipeline.
• Analisi di impatto tecnico, costi e tempi su richieste di modifica.

For a client based in Milan we are looking for a freelance Mechanical Specialist.

• Preferred start: September 202
• Initial contract duration is till 28 February 2028 (extendable)
• Project phase: Detail Design EPC

The individual must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in:

• Leading Pipeline discipline from detailed engineering to commissioning.
• Developing technical specification, purchase specification, datasheets, method statements.
• Developing non-metallic material specifications, datasheets, and procedures.
• Generating drawings including route maps and alignment sheets using GIS data and survey maps.
• Designing and engineering, pipeline right-of-way, trenching, trenchless crossing, HDD using Geotech surveys.
• Performing technical assessment, qualification, and periodic audits of vendor facilities.
• Leading or having participated in specialized incident investigation and failure analysis of pipelines.
• Working experience from design to construction of nonmetallic pipeline systems.
• Ability to assess technical, cost, and schedule impacts of engineering and field modification requests.
• Perform Management of Change (MOC) and construction risk management.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of API 5L pipe requirements.
• Engineering and executing pipeline internal liners such as HDPE or PE-RT.
• Analytical lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
• Conducting calculations for wall-thickness, hydrodynamic stability, expansion loop layout, and thermal buckling using finite element analysis (FEA) software suits.
• Flow assurance, modeling multiphase thermodynamic mixed fluids.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ILI tools and Cathodic Protection systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of API 6A and API 6D valves.
• Performing stress analysis, surge analysis for pipeline and piping.
• Working knowledge of piping layout design and piping engineering including piping material specification development. xysqume
• Ability in reviewing piping engineering & design of vendor packages, for standards compliance.
• Deep working knowledge of ASME B31.4, ASME B31.3, API-579.
• Active affiliation with professional societies like IMechE, ASME, API, ISO is highly desirable
