Job summary

Technogym S.p.A. is seeking a Mechanical Quality Laboratory Specialist to lead product validation and testing, ensuring top quality and reliability through rigorous lab analysis and precise measurements.

You will manage metrology instrumentation, perform diverse mechanical tests, and develop new test methods to support R&D and new product introductions, collaborating with Quality Engineers to resolve issues and ensure traceability.

Qualifications

• Proven background in a Quality Laboratory within a structured manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of metrology and proficiency in using advanced measurement instruments (CMM, LaserScan, calipers, etc.).
• Advanced ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T.
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical testing (tensile, hardness), material analysis, and durability tests.
• Knowledge of major international testing standards (ISO, ASTM)
• Good comprehension of technical English.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation (CMMs, dynamometers, climatic chambers).
• Perform dimensional, mechanical, performance, and durability tests on components and finished products according to control plans and specifications.
• Develop and validate new test methodologies to support R&D and new product introduction.
• Analyze test results, prepare detailed technical reports, and ensure documentation traceability.
• Provide technical and analytical support to Quality Engineers during root cause analysis investigations.
• Isolate, characterize, and manage non-conforming products identified during testing phases.
