Salvagnini Robotica in Brendola (VI) is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the Technical Department. You will design mechanical systems for B3 press brakes and robotic cells, creating assemblies and detailed 3D drawings, and ensuring compliance with EC and safety standards.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Mechanical Designer.
• At least 3 years' experience in 3D modelling and BOM management.
• Good command of English.
• Experience with PLM and Creo/Windchill would be an advantage.

Salvagnini Robotica, based in Brendola (VI) and specialising in the design and manufacture of B3 press brakes and robotic cells, is looking for a Mechanical Designer to join the team. The candidate will report to the Technical Department Manager and will work closely with the Electrical and Software Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Project Management, and Service and Installation teams.

Main responsibilities

• Mechanical design incorporating hydraulics and pneumatics, including the creation of assemblies and detailed drawings in a 3D environment
• Design in accordance with EC, safety and international standards
• Development of new solutions in line with company strategies
• Product improvement (in terms of performance, costs, quality, ease of assembly, etc.)
• Drafting of technical documentation (construction documentation, assembly instructions, operating instructions, etc.)
• Troubleshooting
• Support for other company departments, particularly production.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• At least 3 years' experience in the role
• At least 3 years' experience in 3D modelling and bill of materials management
• Good command of English
• Experience with PLM would be an advantage
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage
• Previous experience in design using PTC Creo and PTC Windchill would be an advantage.
