A manufacturing company in adhesive systems is seeking a Mechanical / Design Engineer to join their engineering team in Montirone, Italy. The role involves migrating drawings from Inventor to SolidWorks and improving existing designs. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical engineering degree, proficiency in CAD software, and strong communication skills in Italian and English. This is a fully in-person position requiring daily commutes to the office.

Competenze

  • Fluency in Italian and professional proficiency in English (B2 Level).

Mansioni

ERO SRL, a manufacturer of adhesive application and quality assurance systems, is offering employment for a Mechanical / Design Engineer to join the Engineering team at our facility in Montirone – Brescia, Italy.

The Mechanical / Design Engineer will support the Engineering team across multiple functions, from the development of new designs to support our existing equipment, to improvements to existing designs to help reduce costs. Initially, the primary focus of the role will be migrating existing drawings from Inventor to SolidWorks. The Mechanical / Design Engineer will also work with the Engineering Team in quality investigations and other forms of process improvements.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes is essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Experience and understanding of hydraulics are preferred.

Note: this is a fully in-person role based at the ERO office in Montirone. Candidates must be able to commute to the office every work day.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Migration of all drawings from Inventor to SolidWorks.
  • Creation of parts, assembly and detail drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Completes all documentation supporting department requirements, such as Engineering Chance Notices, Part Number Requests, Engineering Bulletins, etc.
  • Interactions with vendors and machine shops.
  • Interactions with customers to resolve equipment-related support.
  • Investigate and research new products and ideas by direction of supervisor.
  • Capability of setting up and conducting prototype testing.
  • Prepares protocols, work instructions and reports to perform validation and qualification testing on product and processes.
  • Assist in project work using a continuous improvement methodology.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by verbal and written means
Required / Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, pumps, valves, and hydraulic circuits.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Italian.
  • Professional proficiency in English (B2 Level).
