JK Group is a leader in the production of innovative inks for digital textile printing focusing on water-based pigment, disperse, reactive and sublimation and provides the worldwide digital textile printing market through 2 independent brands : Kiian Digital and J-Teck3.

Whilst within MS Product Division, you'll be part of cross-disciplinary, Agile team designing, implementing, validating, and maintaining mechanical subsystems for current and future printers.

You'll have an opportunity to work with talented engineers building complex products, from proof of concept to production, across a variety of printing technologies targeted to meet our customers' needs and the strategic objectives of MS Printing.

What you will do

• Perform and lead CAD design, engineering computers simulations, and mechanical engineering related lab experiments in support of design validation and reliability goals
• Bring a strong technical expertise during design reviews and problem-solving activities
• Deploy state of the art mechanical engineering development practices
• Follow and drive improvement of best practices and tools to improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and mechanical subsystem quality
• Use outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to execute efficient interfaces with third party engineering partners and suppliers

What you need to have

• Bachelor or Masters' degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in various mechanical engineering research and development roles within an industrial environment is required
• Experience designing industrial products from concept through production is required
• Experience in a mechanical workshop is required
• Very good knowledge of materials requirements is required
• Knowledge of marking and coding equipment is a plus, but not required
• Proven experience in CAD design (Creo Direct / Windchill is a plus)
• Thermal / flow / pneumatics / electro-mechanical testing is a plus as well as FEA / CFD analysis
• Experience working with SAP, nice to have
• Excellent Italian and English language skills are a must
