Job summary

SIMIC is seeking a Mechanical Draftsman to design and create technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies. You will work with engineers and production to define design solutions, prepare production documentation, and manage technical records within ISO-compliant drafting standards.

As part of the Technical Department, you will create 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks), annotate dimensions and tolerances, and ensure documentation is ready for manufacturing while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a technical diploma in mechanical engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mechanical/metalworking sector.
• Excellent knowledge of 2D/3D technical drafting and CAD/SolidWorks software.
• Knowledge of tolerances (GD&T), materials, surface treatments, and machining processes.
• Experience creating bills of materials (BOMs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of technical English.
• Ability to work in a team, meet deadlines, and comply with ISO standards in mechanical drafting.

Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies, collaborating with the team to define design solutions and prepare production documentation. As part of the Technical Department, they will report directly to the Department Manager.

They will create 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software and format them for drafting, including dimensions, tolerances, and materials. They will support the design process and collaborate with engineers and the production team, managing and updating technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a technical diploma in mechanical engineering;
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mechanical/metalworking sector;
