GE Vernova in Italy is offering a Material Specialist Intern position within Aero Alliance Avenza Service Shop. The role supports direct material management, reports to the Material Procurement Leader, and spans 6 months with potential extension for another 6 months.

Responsibilities include PO placement and follow-up, quotation management, supplier relations, and process standardization to streamline operations in a dynamic environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Fluency in English, in writing and speaking.
• Good knowledge of Excel.
• Procurement and Sourcing interest.
• Negotiation and communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Be flexible in a dynamic environment.

This role has a duration of 6 months, with the possibility to be extended for additional 6 months.

Job Description

As Material Specialist Intern, you support the team in:

• management of direct material (new and repaired) request, placing and following up on purchase orders.
• quotation management (technical & commercial approval) and follow up with vendor to check the status of PO.
• managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, scheduling changes and updating ERP.
• Support the team in the standardization of the processes

Requirements
