- Monitoring daily requirements through SAP (MRP), placing purchase orders, and constantly checking stock levels to maintain the optimal balance between availability and working capital.
- Managing raw material purchases in line with company targets, optimizing resources and costs.
- Coordinating supply to external outsourcers, supporting production activities entrusted to third parties.
- Communicating daily with internal teams – planning, production, and warehouse – ensuring accurate and timely information flow.
- Creating and maintaining material master data in SAP, including for new product launches.
- Managing non-conforming and slow-moving materials, working with the Quality department and other departments to determine the most appropriate disposition (return to supplier, reuse, disposal).
- Controlling and managing consignment stock, coordinating with suppliers and handling end-of-period closings to enable invoicing.
- Supporting the availability of finished products in Italian and international warehouses, based on sales forecasts and distribution lead times.
- Ensuring data reliability in internal systems (SAP, SOFI), contributing to the improvement of information quality and decision-making processes.
