A leading technology firm in Italy is seeking a qualified Planner to join their material supply planning team. The ideal candidate will manage procurement processes, ensure timely material deliveries, and maintain supplier relationships. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of planning experience, alongside strong analytical skills and excellent command of English.

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Planner to join our team in the material supply planning area. The selected candidate will be part of a highly structured and evolving environment, managing procurement processes and collaborating with both local and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and ensure material deliveries in line with production schedule requirements
• Manage supplier relationships (communication, performance monitoring, problem solving, etc.)
• Handle routine exceptions (missing deliveries, inventory adjustments, etc.)
• Manage stock levels
• Maintain and update system parameters (minimum stock levels, lead times, lot sizes, etc.)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop products/projects aligned with company objectives
• Develop functional KPIs

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate must have these key qualifications:

Technical Requirements

• Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields
• 1–2 years of prior experience in Planning and/or Procurement
• Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of Excel and experience with ERP systems
• Understanding of fundamental planning concepts (MRP and Lean principles, procurement methods, etc.)
• Strong data analysis skills and ability to extract insights
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage stress and unexpected issues
